Light cotton Djellaba

This garments are made from soft indian cotton textiles, normally used for the traditional Dothi (men’s wrap around skirt) The cut is coming from a traditional egypt djellaba from the south, normally worn by men. We adoped the A-Line cut of this djellaba slightly so that it also fits women well.

The Indian Textile industry has a rich history which is more than 5000-years-old.The Romans called Indian cotton “woven air”, in praise of its lightness and quality.

100 % cotton, swen in India in a small dressmaking workshop
