These hand-carved nativity figures from Guatemala wear beautiful, colourful dresses with elaborate patterns, they are long and slender with friendly, sad faces. In Guatemala they are called „Nacimientos populares”, which translates as means “popular births” and refers to the birth of Christ.
Handmade in traditional Mayan Quiche workshops in Chichicastenango, Guatemala.
