This children’s blouse is about 40 years old and has been part of the Kalotaszeg costume. Kalotaszeg is an area inhabited by Hungarians in the north-west of Transylvania, known for its exceptionally beautiful and detailed costumes and their play with volume. Among her most famous collectors was the composer Belá Bartók, whose collection can be admired today in the ethnological museum in Budapest.The blouse is embroidered by hand on the sleeves and the collar. In the front we see the typical bobbles of the region. Very well preserved, in the back fold is a small stain.
