Wall hanging (Chaklo) from the Kathi comunity, Suarasthra. This geometrical design is embroidered in silk floss on cotton. The kathis are known for their eponymous embroidery, one of the oldes crafts tradition in Saurasthra. They used this kind of wallhangings for the walls outside the house and specially as decoration for festivities.
