Chinese paste-resist indigo dyed bedcover from the Yi people from Guizhou province in South China. Used tradtional as dowry, bedcovers and wrapping cloths, often even as wedding blankets. The patterns an array of auspicious symbols of folk belief, in a combination of floral, animal and abstract motifs.
