This handmade quilted blanket is from Hodka village in Kutch, west Gujarat. As front textile they used an Ajrakh block print, made in the near blockprint manufacture of the Khadri community in the village of Dhamadka in the desert of Kutch. The quilts borrows design elements from the Mutava Community. The Mutavas are a small group of Muslimherders, living in western Banni in Kutch.
